A few months ago I noticed a beautiful Asian girl in my school.I am a white guy living in Portland, Oregon, but I have knownmany Asian people and have studied Chinese for a few years.Anyway, I learned from a classmate that she was from Singapore. She seemed very shy and it seemed like she could not speakEnglish well. I asked my friend about her and he told me she wasan exchange student. Since it was nearly the end of the year Idecided not to attempt to ask her out or even talk to her.
I would see her everyday in school though, and I could not helplooking at her she was so beautiful. As the weeks went by wemade more and more eye contact, but being kind of awkward withgirls I have never met and not being very knowledgeable onfemale flirting tactics I thought that she was just making eyecontact with me because I couldn't stop staring at her. One day she actually came up to me though and after apologizinga lot for bothering me she asked if I would please accept apiece of paper with her name and number on it and in return giveher mine. I was very surprised to say the least. American girls never would approach me in that way. Speciallythey would not apologize for wanting to give me their number;I'm usually the one who has to beg for the girl's number. We exchanged numbers, and after the reality set in that the girlI have been dreaming about for months had just made a movetowards me I became very excited and called her as soon as I gothome. I learned that she was an exchange student and was not allowedto have a boyfriend but was very interested in me and did notcare about the rule since it was the end of the year. After dating a while I took her to a dance club for her 18thbirthday. We connected so well because she could communicateeasily with me using a mix of English and Chinese. We simply loved being with one another. At first I didn't wantto get serious because I knew she would leave me and return toSingapore soon, but she was so amazing that I had to try to bewith her so I asked her if she wanted to get serious and try fora long term (and soon to be long distance) relationship. She was overjoyed that I asked her and we kissed and hugged fora couple of hours. We were together a few months and in thattime together we had a strong and intimate relationship. She hasbeen the most amazing lover I have ever had and could notimagine intimacy being better with anyone else. We decided to try to stay together and she is very devoted tome. We use electronic means to stay in touch and visit eachother every few months. I love her more than anything else andwant to make her
happy. She is not used to guys treating her theway I treat her. She says that her ex-boyfriends in Singapore would never say, "Ilove you" or be so gentle in bed. She said that that is why sheis so shy. We are not getting married next year.
