A Review Of The Super Affiliate Handbook By Rosalind Gardner
If you have been part of the network marketing scene for a little while, you already know how important it is to have good information on your side, and with her recent book the Super Handbook, Rosalind Gardner hands the reader just that. Rosalind Gardner is an individual who has been involved quite successfully with internet marketing for some time, and her book helps you figure out how she managed to make a full-time, very profitable career from her endeavors and advises you on how to do the same.
Rosalind Gardner herself comes from a background that many of us are familiar with; she made the jump from an hourly position as an air traffic controller to self-employed Internet marketer and became quite successful in a field that is full of problems and scams. Essentially her policy regarding the products that she chose to support was a simple one. She designed, tested, evaluated, redesigned and retested until she found one that worked for her.
The Super Handbook is a step by step basics book for anyone interested in seeing if they have what it takes to be in this field, but more than that, it breaks down things that other similar sources simply gloss over or ignore. Rosalind Gardner takes the time to break down important steps like tracking your results and includes the layout of the charts that she used to figure out what was working and what wasn't. Her book emphasizes keeping careful logs and checking your notes to make sure that you stay on the right tack.
Rosalind Gardner also makes some excellent software recommendations as well as providing you with a great formula for tracking your conversions. While the formula itself is not new, the author makes an important point in emphasizing its importance and how it relates to your business and results. More than telling you what products are good and which are not worth your time, this book will also let you know how to tell good products from bad as well as give you an understanding of why this is so.
This book although a great resource, one could argue it is somewhat outdated due
to the ebook being released around 2002 (It's 2008 now). But regardless of that, I did end up purchasing it and reading it. It will get you started but inho if you are looking for a way to create multiple income sites on complete auto-pilot, and are looking for all the latest and greatest tools to achieve this, I didn't find it all here. The book is great for someone who doesn't need a lot of hand holding. for instance, a piece of software is recommended. They might assume you know how to use it already.
One of the most important things that you will get from Rosalind Gardner's book is the fact that you will have an overview of the problems that face network marketers and direct marketers, and you will also be given a good idea of how to overcome them. If you are starting out or you have a hard time grasping the industry as a whole, Rosalind Gardner's Super Handbook, although outdated might be required reading for the beginner!
